Bessies Holiday Cottage, Louth This charming 18th century holiday cottage is situated in the heart of the pleasant, bustling market town of Louth on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds.
Bessie's cottage, nestled amidst the idylic surroundings of St James's Church, adjoins the house in which Alfred, Lord Tennyson, Poet Laureate to Queen Victoria, lived as a boy from 1816 to 1820.
The cottage has been tastefully refurbished to a high standard and has been awarded a 3 Star self catering rating by the English Tourism Council.
